As behalf of kakaria carnival festival Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and Ahmedabad Runners Club celebrat Marathod dod at amdavad 2010. There are different different do listed belows
(1) Marathon covering 42.195 km distance
(2) Half marathon covering 21.095 km distance
(3) Ahmedabad Dream run covering a distance of 6 km
(4) senior citizen's run covering 4.5 km
(5) 7 km long wheelchair
(6) 7 km long run
The Sabarmati marathon 2010 will start from Sabarmati Riverfront and pass through areas like Naranpur, Navrangpura, Nava Vadaj, Ghatlodia, Memnagar,
Gurukul, Satellite, Nehrunagar, Narayannagar, Danilimda, Astodia and Kankaria Lake in the city.
Not only Young but also senior citizens also be a part of this evebt and from abroad are expected to participate in the marathon.
