We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer who has experience in N-Tier Web-Centric applications. This individual will be responsible for the efficient design and development of software in a J2EE/Java architecture environment.
In this role, you will review functional requirements, identifying and analyzing options to implementing the functional requirement and design. You will be responsible for the technical design, development and testing lifecycle of the application.
Duties:
- Responsible for on-time and high quality delivery of your assignments
- Design/code applications following requirements and specifications
- Participate in the architectural design, documentation and proposal
- Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
- Assist Technical Support staff with problem resolution
- Perform other duties as assigned
- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent.
- 4+ years experienced with J2EE, Java programming
- Experienced with software development life cycle, design patterns, best practices
- Understanding of SOA, security, enterprise integration, and distributed computing concepts
- Knowledge of J2EE architecture approaches, frameworks, design patterns, and data modeling concepts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate design approaches in a succinct and effective manner to all levels of the development team
- Ability to lead a small team of developers and manage development tasks
- Experience in a Tomcat/JBOSS, Eclipse, Struts/Tiles/ Spring MVC, Hibernate, AJAX, Javascript , XML, UML, MySQL/Oracle/DB2 and Linux environments is highly desirable.
- Experience with Shell scripting on Linux OS platforms, Ant and Perl scripts is highly desirable.
